First Cook County jury to hear a case after court closures for COVID-19 finds man guilty of burglary - Chicago Tribune

Officials completely changed the courtroom’s configuration due to COVID-19 concerns. Jurors sat apart from one another in the spectator gallery, and witnesses testified from the jury box which, like Judge Arthur Hill’s bench, was surrounded by plexiglass. Participants wore transparent plastic masks so more of their faces could be seen.
